Unitarian church in Inlăceni - Famous by its notable szekler runic inscriptions
Inlăceni was built on the site of a Roman civil settlement. It functioned as an important religious centre in the 16th century. Its late Gothic church was presumably built in the 15th century. In 1661, during a Turkish-Tatar incursion, the church was burned down. It was rebuilt in 1668. The church received a new coffered ceiling constructed by György Muzsnai. He wrote his name and the Unitarian slogan- There is One God- on the cassettes. The greatest Szekler Balázs Orbán discovered these inscriptions. The church’s outer wall was built in 1745, and the tower between 1830-1833.
